HCG weight loss overview

Weight Loss HappinessThe HCG diet is gaining widespread popularity for being a life-changing and fail-safe weight loss program. The HCG weight loss program, as administered by Dr. Sarah Ghayouri, provides the support one needs to change eating habits, improve overall health and appearance, and sustain improvements once the weight loss program has ended.

The backbone to this medically-supervised weight loss program is the administration of the HCG hormone. This hormone, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, is produced naturally by the body during pregnancy and is also used as an infertility treatment for both men and women. The use of HCG for weight loss began decades ago in Italy, but currently has not been approved for weight loss by the FDA.

HCG can cause the body to release abnormal fat deposits, and it also serves as an appetite suppressant. To be successful for weight loss, the administration of HCG is combined with a 500 calorie diet. This allows the HCG to release fat deposits on the body, rather than releasing the fat in actively consumed food. The 500 calorie diet is very easy to adhere to because of the diet plan and support provided by Dr. Sarah Ghayouri and her staff.

This diet plan is an important part of the weight loss program, because it provides specific details of foods and quantities that can be consumed. Thus, no calorie-counting is necessary! Plus, once the weight loss program has ended, Dr. Ghayouri provides a detailed dietary plan to help keep the weight off. Dr. Ghayouri’s staff is available to provide consultation and support during the weight loss program, and checkups are encouraged to monitor progress.

Other effects of the HCG weight loss program, besides weight loss and body-reshaping, are improved health and better sleep. Most of our patients have exhibited lower cholesterol and blood pressure while on the HCG weight loss program. Some have required less insulin or other medications while on the weight loss program, and many patients have experienced more restful sleep and higher energy levels. This is partly due to the effects of the HCG hormone and partly because of the diet. Thus, many of these effects can be maintained after the weight loss program by adhering to the post-weight loss diet.

The HCG weight loss program is a life-changing experience because it gets rid of the fat that matters. Normal weight loss programs first reduce normal fat deposits and then structural fat, which leaves patients with sagging and older-looking skin.

The HCG weight loss program, however, releases abnormal fat deposits, and this allows for the reshaping of the body. The body reshaping and the specific diet plan motivate patients to adhere to the weight loss program. Most patients become accustomed to the food portions and eating habits exhibited on the weight loss program and thus have no problem keeping a healthy diet once the weight loss program has ended. Thus, the HCG weight loss program contributes to a healthier lifestyle and a healthier body! Please contact us to make an appointment and start your own weight loss program!

What is the cost for the HCG weight loss program?

  2. #2 by Dr. Sarah Ghayouri on August 7, 2009 - 4:43 pm

The first round, which is a 3-week program, is $599. Every round after that is $460. Our prices are well below the market rate for this diet, because Dr. Ghayouri cares about her patients and truly believes that being overweight is a major cause for illness in adults.

The $599 covers everything that you need for the diet, including an initial visit with Dr. Ghayouri and her staff to evaluate your condition and make sure that the HCG diet is right for you. It also includes full-time support from Roselyn Quinn, RN. She is available to answer any of your questions and will refer you to Dr. Ghayouri if there seems to be a problem with your program. We also provide literature that you take with you to give instructions on the diet, what to do before and after the diet is over, etc.

HCG is the actual hormone that is used. HGH, Human Growth Hormone, is not a part of this diet plan; although, if you feel that you may need HGH, please call us for more information or make an appointment with us. IGF-1 is an indicator of HGH levels. It is what we test to examine your actual hormone level at a particular time.

Can I exercise while I’m on the HCG Diet? I’ve been exercising 5 days a week, 30min to 1hr. Must I stop while on the diet?

You can exercise moderately while on the diet, but it is better if you don’t since you are on a strict diet and the HCG is burning extra calories.

If the IGF-1 test shows that one is deficient in HGH – human growth hormone – how often would i have to get injections and what is the cost per injection. I am in perimenopause and have been checked by a reputable endo for thyroid, diabetes, cortisol deficiency, you name it i’ve been tested for it and other than menopausal symptoms that are ruining my active life, i’m perfectly healthy.

I am interested in seeing the doctor for help with hormone replacement and menopause.. She is listed as a provider in my insureance companie’s network. Would the co-pay apply for those treatments? I would also like to know if I can do the HCG weightloss program along with the other problem. Is she accepting new patients?

    1. Can this paid for with a medical savings account?

    2. Why can’t you do the hCG with modererate to vigorous exercise and a higher calorie diet if the hCG is supposed to help your body burn fat more effeciently? As long as you are consuming negative calories to what you are expending, the hCG should make your body use fat stores to make up for it. For example if you consume 1000 calories but burn 3000. Why won’t that have the same effect?
